Peter N. Witty has been the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Cable One since April 2018.  Prior to joining Cable One, he served as General Counsel and Secretary for Gas Technology Institute, an energy research development and training organization.  Before that Peter spent 10 years with Abbott Laboratories, serving in various positions including as Senior Counsel and Division Counsel.  Peter began his career practicing for 8 years in the Chicago office of two law firms, Ross & Hardies (now McGuire Woods) and Latham & Watkins.  Before entering the law, Peter was an officer and helicopter pilot in the 10st Airborne Division, serving in Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
