Jeremy Akers
Jeremy Akers is the Managing Director, Operations, for Castlerock Green Energy. His team is currently developing a series of renewable fuel oil manufacturing facilities across the US; in partnership with Ensyn Corp out of Canada. Their process takes renewable forest waste and converts it into no/ low carbon pyrolysis oil. Prior to Castlerock, he spent 6+ years as the Director of Business Development and Growth Strategy at Blue Box Air, working directly with the CEO. In that role, Jeremy successfully initiated and expanded relationships with nationwide real estate portfolios, equipment manufacturers, and large-scale service organizations on behalf of the company.
Jeremy currently serves on the Board of Directors for Holtz’s Heroes, a 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to supporting Coach Holtz’s legacy, his former players and his former players’ charitable endeavors. He is also an Advisory Board member for Mobotory Technologies, Inc., an advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning platform for the Commercial Insurance Industry and PE3Q Technologies, Inc. a suite of web3, blockchain asset verification tools.
Previously, Jeremy held the position of Vice-President and Treasurer for the NFL (Retired) Players Association Los Angeles Chapter. He had a professional football career, playing for the Falcons, Raiders, Cowboys, Broncos and Rams as well as NFL Europe’s Rhein Fire. He concluded his playing career as a team captain for the Orlando Rage, in the original XFL.
Jeremy resides in Austin, TX with his wife, Angie Akers, and holds a B.A. in Economics, Computer Applications, and Communications from the University of Notre Dame.
