Dear Friends,

Very little images convey the true meaning of legacy quite like this one of Bryant Young, Coach Holtz, and Bryce Young sitting side by side. This image isn’t just a snapshot of three generations of Notre Dame football; it’s a testament to the power of mentorship, family, and the lasting impact of a coach who saw potential in every player he met.

Many of you know Bryant Young, a phenomenal player and teammate who made his mark as a defensive tackle for the San Francisco 49ers and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022. Bryant’s journey began at Notre Dame under the guidance of Coach Holtz, and his legacy now extends to his son Bryce, who signed with Notre Dame as a defensive end.

Bryant’s success, both on and off the field, reminds us of what can be achieved through dedication, hard work, and the guidance of a great mentor. Now, Bryce steps onto the same field his father did, carrying forward the values instilled in him.

As we approach the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductions tomorrow, let’s celebrate not just the achievements on the field but the enduring legacies built through compassion and unwavering belief in each other. Thank you for continuing to honor Coach Holtz by being forces for good in your communities.

I look forward to seeing many of you at our Holtz’s Heroes Reunion Week in September. I encourage you to purchase your tickets and sponsorships to the Holtz’s Heroes Reunion Brunch today!
