Dear Holtz’s Heroes Family,
I recently had the joy of meeting my granddaughter for the first time. Her soft cheeks, her calm spirit, ten perfect fingers and toes, and a heart already so full of love. There’s a part of your heart that grows when you become a father, and then it expands even more when you become a grandfather.
Moments like these make me reflect on our time together as students, teammates, and brothers under Coach Holtz. I’m filled with gratitude for the bonds we built—bonds that have not only lasted decades, but have also extended to our children, and now to our grandchildren.
The Holtz’s Heroes family isn’t just about us anymore. Our kids have formed friendships of their own, looking forward to reunions, tailgates, and football games. We celebrate our children’s achievements and lift each other during challenges. We’ve built a network of love and support that only grows stronger with time.
What once felt like a recruiting slogan—“4 for 40”—has become a lived reality that now extends to 4 for Forever. Those four years we committed to Coach Holtz shaped the rest of our lives. They were the foundation of our careers, our values, and the way we’ve raised our families—with Love, Trust, and Commitment.
As we continue to grow, I invite you and your families to join me at our Annual Holtz’s Heroes Reunion. Let’s come together in gratitude for Coach Holtz and celebrate the impact Holtz’s Heroes Foundation has had on our lives and our communities.
Love. Trust. Commitment.
