Byron Spruell, a member of Aon’s Board of Directors, was recently named to Savoy magazine’s 2021 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors list. Spruell serves as a member of the Board’s Audit Committee, Governance / Nominating Committee and Inclusion and Diversity Sub-Committee.

The 2021 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors listshowcases an elite representation of 704 African Americans who have been recognized for executive and business leadership in national and global leading corporations.
Savoy cited Spruell’s work as President of League Operations at the National Basketball Association (NBA). In his role with the NBA, he helps shape the future of the league, overseeing critical league operations, introducing innovations through strategy and analytics and promoting the global growth and evolution of the game. In addition to serving on Aon’s board of directors, Spruell also serves on several non-profit boards, including the University of Notre Dame Board of Trustees and the Jackie Robinson Foundation.
